A few weeks back our friend Leo took us on the most challenging hike/climb in Rio, ascending the daunting Pedra da Gávea. It was probably my toughest but best experience in Brazil so far; it’s up there with the Tongariro Crossing in New Zealand as one of the world’s great one day hikes. Here’s a taste of what it’s like. Valeu Leo!
